Sociology
Why Sociology? Sociology is about the study of people living together in social groups ranging in size from the family to the nation state. It analyses human behaviour by identifying patterns within social groups and explaining the factors which shape them. Sociologists study the effect that living in advanced industrial society has on people’s lifestyles and social attitudes, analysing those structures in which they operate in their day-to-day lives. |
